Delete your Grytt account or data
Grytt is operated by Vysakh P K. This page explains how to delete your Grytt account, or just some of your data, and what happens when you do.
Delete your account
In the app
Profile → the gear icon → Account Settings → Request account deletion
You will be signed out straight away.
If you no longer have the app installed
Email gryttfitnes@gmail.com from the address on your account, with the subject “Delete My Account”.
What happens next
We review every request, then permanently delete your account and all of the data listed below, within 30 days at the latest. Your data stays in place until the request is actioned.
You can change your mind
Sign back into Grytt before the request is actioned and cancel it from Account Settings. Nothing is lost. Once the request has been actioned, deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
What is deleted
- Your profile and account details — name, email, username.
- Your workout logs and history, and your personal records.
- Your progress and physique photos.
- Your AI Coach conversations.
- Your nutrition and food logs.
- Sleep and activity data read from Apple Health or Health Connect.
- Your Readiness Check answers.
- Your friends, follows, comments and likes.
- Your push notification token.
What is kept
Anonymised or aggregated statistics that cannot identify you, and anything we are required to keep by law. Nothing kept can be linked back to you.
Delete only your health data
You can delete the health data we hold without deleting your account.
Account Settings → Apple Health (iPhone) or Health data (Android) → Disconnect
This permanently deletes every day of sleep and activity we have stored for you, immediately. It also stops Grytt reading any more.
It does not revoke the permission itself, because Apple and Google do not allow an app to turn off its own health access. To stop sharing entirely, turn Grytt off inside Apple Health or Health Connect as well. The app links you there.
